Ansari Corporation has manufactured stockinette from a single mill in Faisalabad since 1955. Three generations of the Ansari family have passed down the craft — raw cotton enters at one end, finished, printed, folded carcass bags leave at the other.
Nothing between is outsourced. Knitting, bleaching, cutting, printing, folding and packing — every step happens under our roof. That vertical integration is not a marketing line; it is the reason an abattoir in Melbourne and a freezing works in Christchurch receive the same bag, to the gram, container after container.
Seventy years teaches you what a half-gram of weight does to a lamb side hung overnight in a chiller. What thread count lets a carcass breathe without drying. How ink bonds to cotton so it never transfers to meat. That knowledge is inherited, not bought in.
The process
- Knit. Long-staple cotton yarn knitted into seamless tubular stockinette on our circular looms.
- Finish. Bleached, washed and finished to food-grade standard. Cut and folded to your exact carcass dimensions.
- Print. Your brand, species mark, establishment number and regulatory text printed in any language on food-safe ink.
- Pack & Ship. Folded, counted, packed and shipped by the container with full export documentation.
